Thirteen years ago, the first gastronomic festival was held in Loreto as part of the foundation festivities. This year, to commemorate this special occasion, the event “DESERTICA COCINA” will be celebrated. From the ranch to the table, local products will be highlighted in the beautiful town of San Francisco Javier, with renowned Chef Javier Plascencia as the special host. Chef Javier Plascencia is an ambassador of modern Mexican cuisine worldwide and a passionate supporter of local production, advocating from seafood to organic farm meats. The date of this exciting event is October 26th at 12 noon. The organization of this festival is led by the Association of Restaurants and Bars of Loreto A.C., the Association of Hotels in Loreto, and the Loreto Tourism Trust (FITULORE).
