Not all who wander are lost! – Gypsy’s Wine bar

The creation of Gitano’s was by far, not a deliberate journey. Gretchen and Rick came to Loreto for their first time back in 2015 in need of a relaxing vacation from the craziness of the Silicon Valley where they were both born and raised and enjoyed successful careers.

By day 3 of their amazing vacation, they had fallen in Love with Loreto and the daydreaming of a simple way of life lead them to make a purchase of a piece of property and that is how Loreto and since then, Gypsies got its start for Gretchen and Rick. The idea of a wine bar with a small bites tapas menu started to take shape and Gitanos took shapel. To know Loreto is to know that people come and go from here. Like the freedom traveler of a Gypsy soul people just come and go from Loreto, and that is how Gypsies got its name, Gypsy means Gypsy is Spanish.

Food menu is by far an eclectic one. Gypsies offers everything from a quinoa salad, to a Pesto Chichen and sundried taken sandwich, spicy garlic edamame, and rich smoked fish spread. The menu offers a little something for everyone and they do their best to source as much as possible from Loreto.

Wine menu goes mostly from Mexico, also offers a few bottles produced from United States and other countries, but the wine menu is mostly made up of wonderful wine produces throughout Mexico.
