Loreto has two beautiful and professional golf courses. The first of them is located in Nopoló and it is one of the most beautiful, challenging and unique golf courses found in Mexico.
Originally designed by landscape architects Mario Schjetnan and Pedro Güereca, inaugurated in 1991 with the aim of creating a beautiful attraction in the destination, it harmoniously integrates natural elements such as the majestic Sierra La Giganta, Punta Nopoló, the Sea of Cortez, the impressive desert and man-made lakes that are part of the magnificent surrounding ecosystem.
With 18 holes par 72 and surrounded by the most beautiful landscapes, it was renovated by the 2001 British Open champion, David Duval.
Each hole has been designed to create a perfect experience, your eyesight improves as you advance on the course, the spectacular 15th hole that crosses the quiet lagoon offers a challenge that no one would miss.
In a stunning, world-class location that stretches south of the Bay of Loreto, Mexico; Rees Jones has designed TPC Danzante Bay, a brilliant, multi-thematic 18-hole golf course that takes you through valleys, streams, dunes and hills.
The majestic golf course that is located within the Resort at Villas del Palmar, has spectacular landscapes that show the natural beauty of the region. From any angle, the breathtaking views of the Islands of Loreto and the Sierra de la Giganta mountain range will take your breath away, while the challenging but rewarding golf course will catch you with its magic and make you want to come back for more. Each hole at TPC Danzante Bay offers a truly extraordinary experience as the first nine will amaze you with their wonderful views and the last nine will add to the excitement with holes along the cliffs that lie above the Sea of Cortez.
